MEETINGS: 
The Forum meets each month, January through November, on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. for educational programs.
 
The meeting place is the church at 2929 Belvedere, across the street from Will James Middle School, which is on 30th St. West south of Grand Avenue, in Billings, Montana. Enter from parking lot at north end of building.
 
The public is welcome to attend.

RESEARCH ASSISTANCE: 
To help you with family history, the Forum has a research room at Billings Public Library.  The  Genealogy Room is located on the second floor of the library, 510 North Broadway in Billings, Montana. You may also send queries via website, mail, or to library.

The "Gen Room" is staffed Monday through Thursday, and some Fridays, from 1 to 3 p.m. to provide research help and instruction.  
 
If you need help outside of the staffed hours please contact 727anchor@gmail.com to make an appointment.
 
The list of books available for research in the room can be found on this website under "Library/Archives".  Before you come to the Genealogy Room you can see if we have books that you need.  Items do NOT check out.
 
If a volunteer is not in the Genealogy Room, ask librarian at Reference Desk to unlock door for you. Please sign the guest log. 
 
RESEARCH REQUESTS: 
If you are unable to visit the Genealogy Room, you may submit research requests through this website or by mail "in care of" Billings Public Library. 
There is a charge.  (See "Research Requests".)  We now offer PayPal as a means of making payment online.
 
NEWSLETTER: 
The Gen-Bug is published four times a year and is available to members via this website. 
Older editions are available online to the general public.
 
FACEBOOK:
Search for "yellowstone genealogy".  Programs and events are posted on FaceBook.
 
 
The Forum is a member of the Montana State Genealogical Society (montanamsgs.org) and the National Genealogical Societies (ngsgenealogy.org).
 
The Forum has served Billings and south-central Montana since 1977, to encourage and instruct members in family history research.
